He is survived by : his grandparents, Connie, Charles VanNess and Glenda Shelby; his children, Kaiyah and Gracen; and his stepsons, Quailan, Blake and Silas.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
