He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert M. Jones and Helen R. Jones (Curry); his son Jason Jones (Jay); and his siblings, Lloyd Jones, Alan Jones and Alberta Rhodes.
He is survived by: his children, Michael A. Jones, Matthew P. Jones, David G. Hooper, Jr., Kevin J. Hooper and Sarah C. Sharon; his siblings, Tony Jones, Gale Nuese and Patricia Cholka (Trish); and his grandchildren, Kayla, Hunter, Kiera, Lucy, Kelsey, Laney, Harlow, Gracie, Hudson, Parker and Leia.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson Foundation and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
