He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Suitt and Florene Suitt of Topeka, Kansas; his former wife Mary Suitt (Goodson) of Lawrence, Kansas.; and his wife Cheryl Suitt (Harrell) of Lawrence, Kansas. He is survived by: his sister Becky Connelly (Jim) of Topeka, Kansas; his children, Michael Suitt Jr. (Cindy) of St. Joseph, Kevin Suitt (Joelle) of Hardeeville, Leslie Dlugoshe (Dave) of Round Rock and Joey Suitt (Lindsey) of Baldwin City; his brother Fred Suitt; and his grandchildren, John, Brandi, Charles, Kyle, Jordan, Faith, Peyton, Lilly, Maelee and Anderson. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
