It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael William Hodges of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Michael William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael William. Though Michael William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmot Hodges and Marjorie Hodges (Hill); and his brother Bill Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Hodges (Yager); his sons, Christopher Hodges and Timothy Hodges; his siblings, Patrick Hodges (Debra) and Mary Jane Hodges; and his granddaughters, Phalen Love Hodges and Ebony Longfellow.
