Neva Jane Merriman Obituary

In loving memory of Neva Jane Merriman of Lawrence, Kansas, who departed this world on July 29, 2025 at the age of 93. Neva Jane leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Kleinhans and Sylvia Kleinhans (Jones); her husband William Merriman (Bill); and her siblings, Julia Rupp and Arthur Kleinhans.

She is survived by: her children, Joy Trollman of Lawrence, Dick Merriman (Margot Kelman) of Raleigh, NC, Brian Merriman of Shawnee and Sarah Merriman (Donna Geisler) of Lawrence; her grandchildren, Adam (Brittnee), Beth, Jennifer (Jay), Ben (Sarah), Aaron, Max and Valerie; and her great grandchildren, Tracer, Raftyn, Alyssa and Jaron. She is also survived by four nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Neva's name to First United Methodist Church, Lawrence.
