It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patience Nicole Woolfolk of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Newton and Tutsie Hambrick; and her cousin Chris Hambrick. She is survived by: her parents, Drake Maples and Patience Maples (Hambrick); her husband Chess Woolfolk; her sons, Eli and Beau Woolfolk; her pets, Mikey and Teddy; her siblings, Julianna Kelly (Kris), Jacob Maples (Carolyn) and Robbie Maples (Morgan); her in-laws, Mark, Laura Woolfolk, John Woolfolk (Sarah) and LeiLei Mitchell (Adam); and her daughter Mercy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; extended family members and numerous dear friends.
