She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Spurlock Sr. and Ima Jean Harrington; her sister Beverly Koontz; and the father of her children John Glasscock Sr.. She is survived by: her significant other Andrew Klebenstein; her siblings, Jackie Blankenship, Christina Grammer and Jerry Spulock Jr.; her stepmother Wanda Getter; and her children, Jennifer Glasscock, Oscar Glasscock, Susan Glasscock and Allen Glasscock (Mary Morales-Glasscock). She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (1000 Kentucky St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
In lieu of flowers Peggy's family welcomes donations in her memory to Allen Glasscock in care of Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home to support the homeless community. Contributions can be made to Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
