As Perdita Lorraine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Perdita Lorraine. Though Perdita Lorraine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Green and Iva Green (Paradise); her husband John Scafe; and her children, Cynthia Scafe and Philip Scafe.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Jackson (Jonathan), Becky Chappell (Gordon) and Chris Scafe (Sharon). She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calendar Warren-McElwain Mortuary & Cremation Services (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A burial will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Calendar Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (701 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112).
Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to Douglas County VNA and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
