It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phillip A. Godwin MD of Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on December 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara L. Strong and Wendell R. Godwin; his brother Wendell E. Godwin; and his great grandchild Nolan James Godwin. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Godwin (Nora) of Keokuk, IA, Amy Godwin Wulfemeyer (Mark) of Leawood, KS and Andrew K. Godwin; his grandchildren, Trent Godwin, Eryn Godwin and Lily Wulfemeyer; and his great grandchild Mason Robert Jackson-Godwin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
