He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth N. Johnson and Erma M. Johnson (Holladay); and his brother Jerry Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Dot (Carey); his children, Robin Jacobsen (Johnson) of Lawrence, Marc Johnson (Jessica) of Lenexa and Brad Johnson (Ida) of Lawrence, Kansas; and his siblings, Fred Johnson of Lawrence, Kansas and Ellen Franklin of Kansas City, Missouri. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many grandchildren spouses; and 7 great-grandchildren.
