He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Haeffner and Harvey H. Haeffner; and his brother Harvey C. Haeffner. He is survived by: his wife Donna Haeffner of Baldwin City; his children, Randy Haeffner (Diane) of Baldwin City, Rick Haeffner (Gina) of Colby and Robin Rains (Steve) of Valley Center, Kansas.; and his siblings, Arden Haeffner of Sheridan and Connie Ryder (Stan) of Canton, Ohio.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Worden Cornerstone Church (298 E 900th Rd, Baldwin City, KS 66006). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
