He is survived by: his parents, Karen May Ward of Kingman and Don Ward; his wife Robin Ward of Lawrence; his brothers, Mike Ward of Overland Park, Kansas. and Alan Ward of Overland Park, Kansas.; his niece Tori; and his nephew Keller of Boulder, Colorado. He is also survived by many cousins; and old friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Scooter's name to KU Endowment, where a scholarship is planned to build on his memorable legacy.
