He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Loeb and Edward Loeb; and his stepfather Robert Shine. He is survived by: his children, Natelise Loeb of Portland, Oregon, Alexander Loeb of Lawrence, Kansas, Aletha Loeb (Nate Hulse) of Sacramento, California and Diane Loeb of Waco, Texas; his sister Rhoda Slagle (Alan); his nieces, Elena Slagle of El Dorado, California and Brenell Fahey of Walpole; his brother Edward Loeb Jr. of Virginia; his niece Melonie Loeb; and his nephew Edward Loeb III.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cider Gallery (810 Pennsylvania St, Lawrence, KS 66044).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest any gift in his memory be made as a donation to either the Tahoe Environmental Research Center (http://tahoe.ucdavis.edu) or the American Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org).
