Timothy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Timothy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Timothy will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Childers; his sons, Max Childers and Dominic Childers; his parents, Ed Childers and Margie Childers; and his siblings, Jerry Childers, Aaron Clay (Amanda) and Jeannie Gillespie (Damon). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and countless friends, coworkers.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home (601 Indiana St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A celebration of life was held on Friday, July 10th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
The Family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to an education fund for Max and Dominic.
