He is survived by: his father James Herl; his son Tyler Herl (Chelsea); his grandchildren, Kane of Basehor, Kansas. and Charlie Herl of Basehor, Kansas.; his brother Paul Herl (Kathy) of Sabetha, Kansas; and his sibling's children, Kayla and Adam.
