William Kelly Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Kelly of Lawrence, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 6, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William L. Kelly and Barbara Kelly (Vesely); and his sister Karen. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kelly; his children, Cortney Kelly, William "Billy" Kelly (Kellian) and Joseph "Joey" Kelly (Kaci); his grandchildren, Kennedy, Emersyn, Carlie and Lincoln; and his siblings, Kathy Scannell (Jeff), Mary Jo Shipley (Dan), Susan Bracciano (Mike) and Rod Rozanek (Teresa).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Warren-McElwain Mortuary & Cremation Services (120 W 13th St, Lawrence, KS 66044). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Douglas County 4-H Foundation or the Tunnel to Towers foundation in memory of Bill's lifelong commitment to service and community.
