With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Winkler in Lawrence, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burton Winkler and L. Angela Winkler; his siblings, Burton, Michael, John Winkler and Lorrie Winkler Ksiazek (Mike); his niece Kristen Cole (Ray); his nephews, Michael (Chrissy) and Tom Ksiazek (Melinda); his former wife Jane Winkler of New Mexico; and his close friend Chuck Vlcek of Oregon. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
