It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ada I. Young of Leavenworth, Kansas, born in Tonganoxie, Kansas, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mondero and Regina Dreiling Mondero; and her siblings, Rita, Clara and Joe Mondero.
She is survived by: her children, David (Wanda), Michael (Vickie), Ann (John Hoins), Thomas (Teresa) and Lois St; and her husband Eugene Young. She is also survived by her children, their spouses, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, Ada's memorial wish is for a sidewalk to be built to join the parking lot to the Gazebo/Grotto at St. Francis de Sales to make it handicap accessible. Donations can be made directly to St. Francis de Sales for the Grotto Sidewalk fund.
