He was predeceased by: his brother Scott W. Edwards; and his uncle Kenneth L. Banks. He is survived by: his parents, David Edwards and Marilyn Edwards; his girlfriend Kathy Tatom; his children, Amanda Matteo (Antonio), Michael Edwards, Chad Edwards (Katelin) and Alex Edwards; his sister-in-law Tanja Edwards; his nephew Ryan Edwards (Katy); his grandchildren, Taylor, Aiden, Cooper, Raelynn, Watson, Waylon and Gabriel (Gabe); his great-nephew Nolan; and his great-niece Nora. He is also survived by numerous friends that became his family.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Chapel (531 Shawnee St, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery (16731 Springdale Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
Memorial contributions are suggested in lieu of flowers to First Baptist Church or Hope Pet Rescue.
