She was predeceased by : her parents, Ethel C. Dickson (Tate) and Edgar C Dickson (George Nakata); her son Michael Nakata; her daughter-in-law Deborah Nakata; her great grandchild Alicia Fowler (Lecy); and her siblings, Billy, Ralph Dickson (Pete), Edwin Dickson (Buzz), Nadine Burke (Nene) and Dixie Dickson.
She is survived by : her children, David Nakata (Shari) and Kathy Hiatt; her grandchildren, Shawn A. Hiatt, Greg Nakata (Mandi), Angela Nakata and Natasha Dawson; her great grandchildren, Shawn M. Hiatt, Haydn Norris, Gregory Fowler (Keisha) and Amber Dawson; and her great great grandchildren, Brandon, Ethan and Lucas Fowler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many extended family.
