Catherine Dinesen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Dinesen (Leavenworth, Kansas), who passed away on July 13, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Besch and Marcella Besch (Fisch); her brothers, Francis and Peter Besch; and her niece Tracy Hudspeth.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Dinesen (Jim); her children, Erika Moore (Ryan) and Christopher Dinesen; her grandson Weston; and her siblings, Virginia Bode and Donald Besch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Meyers Northland Chapel (401 Main St, Parkville, MO 64152). A celebration of life was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (7207 N. W. Highway 9, Kansas City, MO.). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
