She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Cowing and Cora Cowing (Blockburger); and her siblings, Mary Louise Rich, Fred Cowing Jr. and Robert John Cowing.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Chris Sanders (Brian) of Lansing, KS, Tom Eismann III of Lansing, KS, Kathy Peckham (Mark) of Thornton, CO and Joe Thoos Jr. of Leavenworth, KS; and her sister Josephine Olson (Gary) of Leavenworth, KS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
