He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Monroe (Welch); his children, Jacqueline Schwinn (Johnny), Jeffrey Monroe (Dawn), Timothy Monroe (Liz), Brenda Schwinn (Billy) and Angela Sparks (Kenny); his grandchildren, Jennifer (David), Amy (Jake), Adam, Amanda (Derek), Blaine (Jill), Austin, Ethan, Alex, Bret (Meghan), Kyle (Leah), Hannah, Rachael and Emma; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Blayke, Evlynn, Grayson, Lucy, Pierce, Fletcher, August, Maeve, Wesley, Logan, Walker, Beau, Cole and Brooklynn; his brothers, Bob Monroe and Charles Monroe; and his in-laws, Patrick Welch (Shirley), Barbara Schmidt and Gary Zule. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
