He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Dewey and Ethel Pollard Dewey; his siblings, Truman Dewey, Lloyd Dewey, Cozette Dewey and Blanche Dewey; and his daughter Cheryl.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris; his son Andre; and his pet Ranger. He is also survived by six grandchildren; five nieces; two nephews; many great-nieces and great-nephews.
