He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Elizabeth Schwartz and Francis Henry Paul Kohl; and his sister Elizabeth Cosgrove (Beth). He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Kohl; his sister Barbara Smith; and his children, Zac (Chrissie), Tom (Laura), Joe (Jen) and Alanda. He is also survived by grandchildren.
