It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Welch Jr. of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Frank departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Frank may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Frank leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sr. Welch and Mary Jean Welch (Pospisil); and his wife Nancy Elizabeth Welch (Wood). He is survived by: his children, Michelle Percival (Joe) of Evans, Valarie Welch of Leavenworth, Betty Welch-Kell (Jennifer) of Leavenworth, Lila King (Aaron) of Leavenworth and Frank Welch III (Brandi) of Leavenworth; and his sister Virginia Dolinski of Overland Park, Kan.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
