It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Smith Sr. of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Raynor and Esther Smith (Fitzhugh); his children, Shannon, Deanna and Kevin; his brothers, Clarence Simpson Jr., Lloyd Smith Jr., Denzel Visor Jr., Timothy Smith, Carlee Smith and Charles Smith; and his uncles, William Raynor, Rev. Peter Cunningham and Charles McDaniel.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Dunn (JR) of Leavenworth, Frederick Smith Jr. (Ruby) of Leavenworth, Deborah Taylor (Frank) of Lenexa, Robert Smith of Springfield, Michael Smith of Leavenworth, Megan Washington (Darnell) of Lenexa, Shaunessy Smith of Leavenworth and Brittany Smith of Wichita, Kan; his siblings, Toni Smith of Leavenworth, Glenda Smith-Davis of Lansing, Kan. and Robin Smith of Kansas City; and his aunt Luevenia McDaniel.
