He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Allin, Jr. and Mary Davis Allin. He is survived by: his wife Christine K. Allin; his daughters, Adrienne Allin and Jessica Campbell; his son-in-law Jamie Campbell; and his siblings, Thomas Allin, Margaret Brown, Catherine Deddo, Nancy Doty and Susan Riedinger.

Donations can be made in his memory to support research of progressive supranuclear palsy, the disease he so bravely lived with in his last years. Donations can also be made in his memory to support the World War I Museum.
