He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tierney and Marguerite Tierney (Sullivan); and his brother Michael Tierney. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Tierney; his children, Maureen Sticha (Russ), Laura Tierney, Mark Tierney (Brooke) and Alexandra Tierney; his grandchildren, Katie Leetz-Reddick (Carson), Paige Foster, Jack and Ellie Sticha; and his siblings, Maureen Euston (Mike), Patrick Tierney (Linda), Robert Tierney and Mary Tierney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
