He was predeceased by: his parents, Colonel David Johnston and Louvain Johnston (Scott); and his brother William. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Gnagy; his daughters, Jennifer Aber (Dave) and Jessica Laven (Luke); and his grandchildren, Cedric Aber, Winston Carey and Elaine Carey. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, many nephews and nieces and other extended family.
