He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Patterson and Eva Grace Burnham Patterson; his wife Frances L. Cavaner; and his siblings, Bill and Rose.
He is survived by: his brothers, John Patterson and Dan Patterson (Linda); his children, Gary Patterson, Jim Patterson (Jami) and Missy Burke; and his grandchildren, Kyle Patterson (Elizabeth), Rachael Wright (Caleb) and Krystal Sanders (Kyle). He is also survived by several great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davis Funeral Chapel (531 Shawnee St, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Eagles Lodge 55 (300 S 20th St, Leavenworth, KS 66048). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at the Sunset Memory Gardens (16731 Springdale Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
