She was predeceased by: her fathers, Henry Taylor and Louie Taylor; her stepson Steve Tharp; her husband Samuel R. Tharp; and her sisters-in-law, Belinda Taylor and Loyce Ann Taylor.

She is survived by: her stepson Richard Tharp of Columbia, Missouri; her daughters, Cynthia Hyde (Cary) of Leavenworth and Melissa Jones of Leavenworth; her grandchildren, Jessica Vomund (Eddie), Jared Tharp (Alissa), Bryan LaFave of Kansas City, Collin Jones (Madison) of Blue Springs and Brandon Jones of Leavenworth; and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Addison, Adrienne, Avery and Regan.
