He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Hilliard and Helen N. Hilliard (Dalton); his brother James W. Hilliard; his son Boy Hilliard; his in-laws, Arthur, Mary Fagan, Christopher, Robert, Francis, Peter Fagan, Judith Byrne, Ross Morris and Gary Stotts; and his son-in-law Darren Bennett.
He is survived by: his wife Nan Hilliard; his children, Tiffany Bennett and Cory (Allison Hilliard); and his sisters, Joyce Stotts of Safety Harbor, FL and Norma Morris of Rockwall, TX. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations in his name to the First Baptist Church of Basehor Building Fund.
