She was predeceased by : her parents, William W. Johnson and Helen Edith Johnson (Schmidt); and her husband Joseph Oertel. She is survived by : her children, Charlene White (Phil) of Basehor, Darlene Iannone (Mike) of Leavenworth, Kan., Kevin Wiehe (Gail) of Turner and Peter Wiehe (Jeanne) of Leavenworth; and her sisters, Sister Eileen Marie Johnson and Linda Powers of Lansing, Kan.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home (4701 10th Ave, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
