Onalea Ann Barber Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2025, at the age of 83, Onalea Ann Barber of Leavenworth, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Onalea has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Berdahl and Mable Berdahl (Hokensted). She is survived by: her child Onee; her husband Ron Barber; her children, Sheri Natole (Frank), Wayne Barber (Janet) of Overland Park, KS and Doug Barber (Karen) of Leavenworth, KS; and her stepson Robert McDaniel (Nora).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John American Lutheran Church (7100 E 26th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57110). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. John Lutheran Church in Onalea's memory.
