He was predeceased by: his parents, Daryl Dewight McQuirk and Hazel Merle Finch McQuirk; his wife Mary Lynn Filbert McQuirk; his stepson Michael Brooks; his son-in-law Terry Parsons; and his granddaughter Amber Brooks.

He is survived by: his children, Leslee Brooks Parsons, Daryl William "Bud" McQuirk (Rachael), Steven Charles McQuirk (Jenny) and Diana Beth Strawn (Mark); his grandchildren, Ashley, Andrew, Austin, Evan, Molly, Mitchell, Taylor, Shawn, Tyler, Carl and Caitlyn; his sisters, Darylen McQuirk Cote of Caribou and Marylen McQuirk Snider of The Villages, Florida; and his in-laws, Mike and Maggie Filbert of Leavenworth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
