He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Bodde and Bernice Bodde (Brunn); his father-in-law Blaise Gasper; his wife Maria May Bodde (Spears); his sister Hannah Bodde; his siblings-in-law, Rick Richeson and Mary Jo Bodde; and his nephew Joseph Bodde.

He is survived by: his son Tyler Bodde (Cara); his granddaughter Charlie Mae Bodde; his siblings, Albert "Buddy" Bodde, Theresa Carroll of Leavenworth, Tina "Rose" Richeson of Leavenworth and Josephine Williams (Paul) of Leavenworth; his brothers-in-law, Paul Spears (Mary) and Clay Spears (Libbi); and his mother-in-law Agnes Gasper.

Memorials are suggested to the March of Dimes.
