He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Bell and Marguerite Bell (Gonterwitz); and his siblings, Charles Bell (Murph) and Carol Garber. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle; his wife Karen; his sons, Wade Bell (Whitney), Lawrence, Kan and Ryan Bell (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Logan Odom, Jared Odom, Blaise Bell and Maggie Bell.
