He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorando "Bus" Brown and Virginia Brown (Bell); and his sister Sally McConnell (George). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Brown of Shelby, Ohio.; his children, Poppy Lee (Tom) and Aaron Nicholas Brown; his grandchildren, Patrick Lee and Megan Lee; and his brothers, Roger Brown, Dr. David Brown and Paul Brown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
