He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph James Ruby and Norma Jean Ruby. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Surber; his sons, Christopher Ruby (Nicole) and Nicholas Ruby; his grandsons, Anderson and Brighton Ruby; and his sisters, Teresa Stewart (James) and Amy Williams (Dan). He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew, and one great niece.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Leavenworth Interfaith Community of Hope.
