With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Glenn Forge of Leavenworth, Kansas, who passed away on June 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Walter Glenn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Walter Glenn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo F. Forge and Irene Forge (Culp); and his brothers, Raymond Forge and Leo Forge. He is survived by: his sister Margarete Kowalewski (Joe) of Clinton, Tenn.; his nephew Brian Kowalewski (Tina) of Fredericksburg; and his nieces, Marilyn Jones (Ken) of Lenoir City, Shawna Herd (Keith) of Pontiac and Nancy Forge of Leavenworth.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the R. L. Leintz Funeral Home (4701 10th Ave, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
