We are sad to announce that, on December 14, 2025, at the age of 83, Alice M Young of Leawood, Kansas, born in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Alice's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Alice has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David McClain and Betty McClain; her sister Lynda Wruck (Pearce H. Young); and her stepson Steven Gerard Young. She is survived by: her spouse Colonel Pearce "Pete" H. Young; her children, Cynthia Drake Slaby, Timothy Kenyon Slaby and David McClain Slaby (Jenni); her stepson William Pearce Young (Shelly); and her grandsons, Luke McClain Slaby and Nicholas Drake Slaby.
