He was predeceased by: his parents, E. J. Sims and Margaret Sims; and his brother Thad Sims. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Sims; his daughters, Neely Schiefelbein (Scot) and Lacey Gruenebaum (Andrew); his grandchildren, Chance, Ella Schiefelbein, Gibson and Jolie Gruenebaum; and his brother Phil Sims.
