He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Boersma and Marion Boersma (Johnson); his wife Shirley Boersma; his son-in-law Peter Jacaty; and also, Cornelius and Marion Boersma.
He is survived by: his children, Cornelius IV (Barbara), David (Patty) and Elizabeth; his granddaughters, Ragan, Jillian and Natalie; and his sister Anne. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (6401 Wornall Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64113).
