Deborah Schaefer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Schaefer (Leawood, Kansas), who passed away on May 1, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her grandmother Mary Milke; and her father John E. Stacy Jr.. She is survived by : her mother Betty Stacy; her niece Patricia Stacy; her parents-in-law, Edward and Joann Schafer; her aunt Francis; her husband Michael; her brothers, Brian (Janet Stacy), Dennis (Melody Stacy) and Kevin (Deanna Stacy); and her sister-in-law Theresa (Doug McKenna).

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be given to the Lay Carmelite Order –Peggy Oades Treasurer. There will be a basket for the donations in the front church vestibule.

“Hi my name is Diane Norton my husband is Dr. Kenneth Norton We were so sorry to hear about Debbie We loved her so much She worked for us for several years and she helped my husband out by doing his dictation . We will miss her my husband retired a year ago and so he misses everybody a lot May God bless you all and may God take care of Debbie.”
