It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Jo Scavuzzo (Leawood, Kansas), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on May 17, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph DeStefano and Conjetta DeStefano (Coletta); her husband Carl M. Scavuzzo; and her siblings, Jenny DeStefano, Neva Melvan, Vita Fanska and Mike DeStefano.

She is survived by : her children, Liz Scavuzzo, Sam Scavuzzo, Connie Shay (Jim) and Carl Scavuzzo Jr.; her grandchildren, Jimmy Shay (Maddie), Caroline Holland (Joe), Elizabeth Shay, Madeline Louis (Adam), Stetson Scavuzzo and Joseph Shapiro-Scavuzzo; and her great grandchildren, Edie Holland, Hadley, Charlotte Shay and Tatum Louis.
