He is survived by : his wife Idie Parmet; his children, Lori Gold (Mitchell), Staci Zimmerman (Mark) and David Parmet (Mindy); and his grandchildren, Kyle Gold, Ryan Gold, Maya Parmet, Abby Gold, Justin Parmet and Sydney Zimmerman.

“Very sad to have lost Herb. I always looked forward to seeing him when he came to Denver to visit his family. He was totally engaged with our grandaughter whenever possible and never missed an opportunity to participate in her life and activities.
