She was predeceased by: her parents, Alejandro Salazar and Hilda Salazar; her in-laws, Harry and Wilma Sutton; her daughter-in-law Debi Sutton; her siblings-in-law, Sharon and Thomas Gray; and her stepgrandson David Richter.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Sutton (S. Navy); her siblings, Alejandro Salazar, Loly Sanchez, Fina Alatriste (Miguel), Jose Luis Salazar (Maria Elena) and Carlos Salazar (Elena); her sons, Damian Sutton (Patricia Demis), Garvin Sutton (Mary) and Jason Sutton (Connie); her grandchildren, Alexander Sutton, Victoria Sutton, Ashley Sutton (Brandon Ray), Kaitlyn Flores (Ari), Kelby Sutton, Karsten Sutton, Keelie Sutton, Mitchell Sutton and Laryssa Sutton; and her stepgrandchildren, Abigail Brame, Nicholas Mason (Quincy) and Dr. Angela Richter (Brandon Briggs). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
