She was predeceased by: her grandmother Jo; her parents, William Harding and Vera Harding; and her siblings, Jim Harding and Jane Leibach.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Wanamaker; her children, Peggy Barry (Rick), Mike O'Neill (Cathy) and Shannon Pernice (Anthony); her stepsons, David Wanamaker (Anne) and Stephen Wanamaker (Kristin); her sister Joyce Sorth; her sister-in-law Gerry Harding; and her caregiver Charlotte Fristoe. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Colonial Presbyterian Church (12501 W 137th St, Overland Park, KS 66221). A reception will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care or Colonial Presbyterian Church of Overland Park, Kansas, in JoAnn's memory.
