He is survived by: his wife Jody Grubaugh Abbott; his children, Erin Abbott LaBounty and Gavin Wood Abbott (Rebeka); his grandchildren, Mia LaBounty, Owen Abbott and Gemma Abbott; his brother Fred Abbott (Vickie); his niece Andrea Abbott Sanchez (Danny); his sister-in-law Mindy McDaniel; and his niece Lacey McDaniel (Ursula).
